This outstanding beach house has been renovated including the huge timber entertainment deck. Hawks Nest is one of the last jewels in the crown of undeveloped holiday destinations on the east coast. Located at Port Stephens just 2 hours north of Sydney, it is ideal for holidays, retirement or family living, offering a relaxed and idyllic lifestyle.
The twin towns of Hawks Nest and Tea Gardens provide the main access point for the pristine Myall Waterways - a River chain of salt and freshwater lakes, rain forests, mangroves, wetlands and white sand beaches, Ideal coastal retreat: dolphins and whale watching, fishing, boating, surfing, bush walking, scuba diving or just relaxing on the beach.
Open plan living areas open out to an enormous, 13m x 5m deck, half of which is under cover for when you need some shelter. The deck incorporates a wonderful, triple trunked blackbutt tree and is illuminated by imported swivel designed spots on dimmer switches.
There are four bright and roomy bedrooms, 1 King, 1 Queen, Set of bunk beds and 1 Double. Each bathroom is fully tiled and all quality fittings including vanities and mirrors. The second bathroom is huge and has been additionally fitted as a laundry. It includes a vanity and WC. There is a third hot water shower outside which is perfect for rinsing off after the beach. The garage extension is a great games room. It has undercover access to rear deck, is fully carpeted and is perfect as a rumpus room for teenagers, parties and entertaining. (Please note all vehicles are to be parked on the paving in front of the garage). The vast, sunny private back yard and lawn area has matured gum trees and is fully enclosed by a 6' hardwood fence with gated access on either side of the home. Front and back yards are landscaped with scores of native flowering trees and shrubs.
