Get Ready for River Fest – A Day of Fun by the Water!

Mark your calendars because River Fest is making a splash in Tea Gardens on Sunday, March 9th – and you don’t want to miss it! This action-packed day along Marine Drive is bursting with live music, family-friendly races, market stalls, a petting zoo, and even free ferry rides on the Myall River.

Start the day with a Welcome to Country ceremony, then cheer on (or join in!) the three-legged races, sack races, and egg-and-spoon races. Feeling competitive? Test your skills in the famous free prawn-eating competition or the donut-eating contest – sweet prizes included! There’s even a free dog show, so bring your furry friends along (on a lead, of course).

The entertainment doesn’t stop there! Enjoy live tunes from Jomeca, plus an afternoon set by rock band Unit 20 at the Tea Gardens Hotel. And with 50+ market stalls, food vendors, and fun surprises throughout the day, there’s something for everyone.
